Dash bulb cross reference

Ok, I have been searching extensively here and other places online, and am trying for a definitive answer. I've got a few bulbs out in the dash of my 06 non-navi, and rather than put standard bulbs in and have to replace a few others in a few months (or days or weeks ) I was considering going all LED. I have the Acura part numbers, but I have not been able to find cross references to the neo wedge base sizes. Does anyone have a count of how many of each size I'll need? T3, T4, T5. I'm thinking blue and switch them all out. Thanks in advance.

I just completed this project the other day. I used T3 bulbs for everything! I did use all blue led's with the exception of the auto button with the arrows, I used white. I highly recommend referencing the picture below for the polarity of the bulbs. (Thanks to maddsiick)

Take a 9V battery, hook up some leads and test the led's before you install them. I marked which side was + and -. It will save you from having to go back and forth and rotating the bulbs around. Also remember to always disconnect the battery!

I am going to do my steering wheel next. I have been ordering all kinds of different T3 style's to see what will work best since led's are focused and I need to be sure they have a wide angle so they are not dim.

Here are some pictures of my completed project. The pictures do not accurately reflect the color of the bulbs. There are no hot spots...everything is the same color except for the auto buttons. Some look dim, but are not.

Remember to take your time. Our interior is like a big puzzle. I highly recommend getting yourself a Honda trim tool. Take it nice and slow so you do not damage, scratch, or crack anything. It is worth spending the extra time to do it right.

Oh thats exactly the look I'm going for with the blue, I was considering red too but I'm pretty set on blue now. I've had the console apart to do my iSimple install, so I know what you mean by puzzle. I'll get these ordered and hopefully some pics.

I do have one quick question, what style LED did you use for the climate control? I was looking at VLED theirs are SMT which evidently throws the lights more (less focused "beam"). Even at $4.00 a pair its almost half price from factory parts.

I bought 2 sets of the blue bulbs so I would have lots of extras. I bought 2 sets of the white bulbs as well.

I will let you know how the other bulbs work for the steering wheel. They just arrived yesterday...they are these...

Have you installed these LED bulbs in your steering wheel yet? I'm thinking about ordering some for my 04 TL.

I have not taken on that project yet. I still have the bulbs ready to go...just have not had the time to try this yet. I will absolutely get some pictures up when I complete.

Please do, I'm very interested how the color and intensity are compared to the OEM incandescent bulbs. If they work well, I will switch over as well.
