Automobili Lamborghini presented the Huracán Tecnica: the next-generation rear-wheel drive V10, developed for pilots seeking driving fun and lifestyle perfection on both road and track. The Tecnica's moniker embodies the advanced evolution of the Huracan's technical prowess and, instantly distinguishable, is as much a Huracán innovation externally as it is under the hood, with its new looks accenting improved aerodynamics for heightened performance, stability and ease of use, particularly on a circuit. Taking its engine from the Huracán STO, with an increase of 30 CV over the Huracán EVO rear-wheel drive (RWD), the powertrain delivers 565 Nm of torque at maximum 6,500 rpm and improved acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. The lightweight Tecnica's recalibrated LDVI system and distinctly tuned driving modes with specific suspension set-up, rear-wheel direct steering, and innovative brake cooling improvements allow the driver to experience the perfect Huracán for every occasion: the Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica exploits its talents to deliver the best of both worlds - a poignantly versatile super sports for road and track.

"The Huracán Tecnica condenses Lamborghini's design and engineering expertise to create the perfect fun-to-drive Huracán, as compelling when driving to the race circuit as it is on the street itself," says Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann. "The Tecnica ensures that the pilot enjoys the strongest connection to the car and asphalt, with the car's potential always at his fingertips for ease of use in every driving mode and environment: in an era of virtual experiences it pays homage to technical purity and physical sensation. The Tecnica completes the Huracán line-up, sitting perfectly between the RWD and the track-focused STO, flawlessly presenting technology, performance and the Huracán's V10 aspirated engine in a dramatically evolved design."

Tecnica - engineering in its soul

The Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica takes the 5.2 l powerplant outputting the same 640 CV power as its STO stablemate, producing 565 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm for exhilarating yet comfortable everyday driving with highly responsive maximum power and torque when demanded.

With a dry weight of 1,379 kg, the Tecnica delivers a weight-to-power ratio of 2.15 kg/CV. The uprated power is matched by an enhanced, sharper engine sound at higher revs while inside the cockpit the Tecnica provides improved acoustic comfort.

This Huracán has at its heart the LDVI (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) system, which controls every aspect of the car's dynamic behaviour by integrating vehicle systems and set-up to deliver feed-forward pre-control in virtual real-time, for perfect driving dynamics.

The rear-wheel drive Tecnica incorporates rear-wheel steering with direct steering ratio and torque vectoring, together with a modified Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS) and specific suspension set-up for the Tecnica. Depending on the drive mode selected - STRADA, SPORT or CORSA - every dynamic system is calibrated on the Tecnica to provide a highly differentiated response to each environment.

In STRADA, the rear-wheel-steering provides stability and manoeuvrability, complemented by the torque vectoring and P-TCS. The engine and gearbox are both tuned for comfortable everyday driving in every setting.

When SPORT mode is selected, maximum driving fun comes from the rear-wheel steering's enhanced oversteer and the enhanced slip threshold of the P-TCS, while torque vectoring ensures the Tecnica's agility and responsiveness in the hands of the driver. The highly responsive powertrain sparks at the touch of the accelerator and the seven-speed gearbox provides a tactile and emotive shift.

In CORSA mode, the car's and driver's race spirit is awoken: the Tecnica responds to the pilot's every input with extreme precision, with the naturally aspirated Lamborghini engine's roar an impassioned reminder of the car's track talents. The powertrain is calibrated to provide optimized track-oriented throttle response and the fastest gearshifts, with the Tecnica demonstrating maximum precision and agility from all systems via the LDVI, including maximum lateral and longitudinal grip from the torque vectoring and P-TCS respectively.

Extraordinary performance comes with new brake cooling management, inspired by track-based Lamborghini experience, delivering consistently better braking performance on both road and track. The Tecnica's carbon ceramic brakes adopt specifically designed cooling deflectors and calliper ducts, directing the airflow into the discs to maximise heat dissipation and reduce brake fluid temperatures and brake pedal elongation: the reduction in disc temperatures also supports brake pad consumption.

Aerodynamic inspired design

The Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica sports a significant and sophisticated design revision, impressing its dual personality of an iconic super sports lifestyle and track-oriented car from every angle. Aerodynamic efficiency and lightweight engineering energize every element while retaining a distinct elegance, with the Tecnica clearly distinguishable from its Huracán stablemates.

A revised design lends the Tecnica a stronger, predatory stance: a powerful, inward-facing front with muscular shoulders meets a lightweight, fully carbon fiber hood. A new bumper featuring the Terzo Millennio's black Ypsilon design, incorporates an air curtain for the first time in a Huracán. A new front splitter, with lower, open slats directing air through the wheels, contributes to improved downforce and cooling. Black at the base of the windscreen increases the lightweight impression.

The profile of the car also sets it apart from the Huracán family: at 6.1 cm longer than the Huracán EVO it is the same height and width but appears lower and broader, with a silhouette inspired by the daylight opening line from the Essenza SCV12. The black of the front Ypsilon feature continues along the flank of the car to the side air intakes, emphasizing the car's dynamic vitality, while the body-color roof can also be painted black as an option.

The clear, sculptural architecture that defines a Lamborghini is as evident in the revised rear. The reshape of the rear, including a new vertical rear glass window gives improved visibility, while a redesigned engine hood in lightweight carbon fiber celebrates the V10 heart of the Tecnica. The powerful rear incorporates a new bumper with optimized air inlet; diffuser painted in body color or optional black; and combines new hexagonal exhaust pipes that deliver the enhanced fanfare from the Tecnica's powertrain.

While aesthetically the fixed rear wing completes the unique lines of the Tecnica, its aero design essentially contributes to the 35% improvement in rear downforce compared to the Huracán EVO RWD, as well as ensuring no increase in drag: in fact, drag is reduced by 20%, improving aero balance and supporting stability during braking and turning speed. The Tecnica's underbody is also optimized with new aero deflectors for improved aerodynamic efficiency.

New Damiso 20" diamond cut wheels, taking inspiration from the Lamborghini Vision GT, sport a hexagonal design and are fitted with Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires.

Created for the driver

The versatility of the Huracán Tecnica continues in its interior as well as in the extensive customization options available: the Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica delivers what the driver wants, in the way it looks, in its dynamic set-up and driver feed-back, in its connectivity but most importantly in its capabilities on both road and track.

Inside, the height-adjustable sports seats immerse the pilot in his cockpit. Further options include a lightweight door design; a rear arch and wheel bolts in lightweight titanium; and harness seat belts for those heading more regularly to the circuit.

A redesigned, sophisticated HMI interface is exclusive to the Tecnica. The driver's instrument panel reduces colors and emphasizes readability in a large new 'arc' in front of the pilot. The central console screen puts the fun-to-drive elements at the disposal of the cockpit's occupants, including the LDVI functions in real-time display, as well as all connectivity functions including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Amazon Alexa. Inspired by the STO, the HMI includes connected telemetry and on-board diaries of destinations and track times, connected to the UNICA app.

Standard and optional colour and trim choices lend themselves to both luxury-oriented and more sporty specifications. Together with eight standard exterior colours, more than 200 additional paint options are available through the Ad Personam program, as well as a new interior trim in Alcantara specifically for Tecnica, and further exclusive options such as stitching designs and colors and the 'Tecnica' motif embroidered into seat bolsters.

Beyond the Tecnica's exclusive options, Lamborghini's Ad Personam department offers the potential for clients to customize their Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica with virtually unlimited color and trim possibilities.

Automobili Lamborghini celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2023 and to commemorate this significant year, Lamborghini and Japan's most disruptive contemporary artist IKEUCHI have come together in an avant-garde artistic collaboration.

Inspired by the 60th anniversary motto "The future began in 1963", this joint project was named "Chasing the Future" and it encompasses the "Time Gazer" and the "Huracán STO Time Chaser_111100".

Automobili Lamborghini, together with its strong network of 180 dealers in 53 different countries, have decided to organize a cross-sectional projects for which different markets will cooperate with internationally renowned artists to celebrate its 60th anniversary. The company has created the artistic platform to explore, in all forms, Lamborghini's core values that have always distinguished it in the past, present and as a future reference also. This first Japanese collaboration will be presented In Tokyo together with IKEUCHI.

Stephan Winkelmann, Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and CEO said "We are very proud to present this piece of art together with IKEUCHI in this memorable 60th anniversary year. Lamborghini Huracán STO Time Chaser_111100 truly blends tradition and innovation, the past and the future while perfectly embodying Lamborghini's values. On this milestone of our 60th year, Lamborghini promises to continue to grow as a bold and unconventional brand, never ceasing to challenge itself."

Since emerging on the art scene in the early 2010s, IKEUCHI's unparalleled talent quickly attracted worldwide attention and led to collaborations with globally renowned brands and influential artists.

Inspired by cyberpunk and robot anime, he combines plastic models with industrial product parts to create a vision of the future complete with conventional functionality.

IKEUCHI, who created the collaborative model, said "I am very honored to collaborate with a brand like Automobili Lamborghini especially for its 60th Anniversary. It's a Brand that is constantly striving to shape the future and challenging the status quo as I do with my art. The Time Gazer and the Time Chaser were created by incorporating original parts from past anniversary models and are meant to be a celebration of Lamborghini's history from the very past with the aim of living longer also in the future. I hope that Lamborghini owners and many others could enjoy this collaboration as a piece of art that commemorates the next chapter of the ever-evolving brand.".

These projects maximally explore the common themes shared by Lamborghini and IKEUCHI, namely the concepts of "time" and "timelessness": the Time Gazer has been built using original Lamborghini parts and it represents a large-scale art piece meant to encapsulate IKEUCHI's vision of past, present and future through the lens of Lamborghini's evolution.

The Lamborghini Huracán STO Time Chaser_111100 on the other hand, is an "Opera Unica", a one-of-a-kind limited edition that brilliantly expresses IKEUCHI's theme of cybernetics and Lamborghini's historic 60 years encompassing the shared values of always being at the forefront of the times and breaking the rules of the past through creative and authentic expression. The influence of Lamborghini's heritage on this Opera Unica is remarked by the clear references to the launch colors of the previous anniversary models and by using 111100, the binary code for the number 60, in the naming itself.

Taking inspiration from the rich legacy of Lamborghini, for these creations IKEUCHI utilized original parts from previous anniversary models such as Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary, Lamborghini Diablo SE30, Lamborghini Murciélago 40th Anniversary, and Lamborghini Aventador LP-720-4 50th Anniversary. Combining these parts and other elements, IKEUCHI interpreted the Huracan STO in his signature futuristic cyber-industrial style.

Davide Sfrecola, Head of Japan Automobili Lamborghini, added "We are very pleased to enshrine such a valuable collaboration with IKEUCHI who represents the future of Japan. From broken motherboards, plastic to electrical wiring intricately molded together to establish a cyberpunk apocalyptic aesthetic, he amplifies and investigates the connection and relationship between humans and technology in a country so rich in millennia-old traditions and contemporary culture. There is a great passion for art in all its forms that inevitably merges even into aspects of the everyday life. To a brand that has enriched a country of colors, this collaboration will contribute to add extra shades of recognizability to Japan and Automobili Lamborghini."

Inspired by the vibrant blues of Sardinia's seas and skies, Lamborghini presented an "Opera Unica" Huracán Sterrato: a one-off piece of art in a unique crystal-effect paint process created by Lamborghini's Ad Personam department. Unveiled to Lamborghini guests at a VIP 60th anniversary dinner event in exclusive Porto Cervo, where the Lamborghini Lounge returns for the summer months, the one-off Huracán Sterrato also celebrates the anniversary year of Lamborghini; the brand's iconic, vibrant colors; and the company's exceptional expertise in creating unique hues and paint processes over decades.

The Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato Opera Unica exudes the inimitable, brave character of the super sports car that perfectly tackles the paved and unpaved roads of the Costa Smeralda, while its unique, hand-painted exterior takes inspiration from the marine-blue landscapes and rich colors of Sardinia. The three-color hand-painted process creates the crystal effect of frozen liquid: Blu Amnis is used as the first solid paint color, and then etched into by hand with a second Blu Grifo paint and a third color Blu Fedra, in a process taking over 370 hours.

"The Huracán Sterrato was born from challenging the expected, delivering a super sports car that goes beyond convention. The one-off Huracán Sterrato Opera Unica takes this to another level, and in Lamborghini tradition, draws attention and asks questions of it as an art form," said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Automobili Lamborghini. "Lamborghini is always touched by the beauty and colors of Sardinia, and this is the perfect opportunity to experiment with a new paint process, explore the possibilities of our Ad Personam personalization, and then present this special Sterrato to our clients and guests in the environment that inspired the blue crystal effect."

The exterior of the "Opera Unica" is finished in matt black paint, to the roof, sills and front-light casings, front and rear splitters and fenders. Its muscular, enhanced wheel-arch protection is also painted matt black, setting off Morus 19" matt black rims. Inside, the Opera Unica one-off is as unique as the exterior: featuring exposed carbon fiber, the sports seats, door panels and console are upholstered in Blu Delphinus leather; the dashboard in same-color specially-dyed Alcantara; and the steering-wheel combining the two materials. The lighter shade of Celeste Phoebe leather is used in complementary panels, piping, and embroidery including the Lamborghini logo, recalling the blue of the exterior and the ambience of a maritime lifestyle. A seat-panel graphic is lasered in silver, and even the cover to the start-stop button on the center console is finished in the crystal effect of the exterior paint. Like all Huracán Sterrato cars to be produced, the interior carries a special plate denoting it as one of 1499 in a limited series, as well as special plates celebrating 'Opera Unica Porto Cervo 2023', finished in the crystal effect paint, and Lamborghini's 60th anniversary.

At the World Finals 2023, Lamborghini unveiled the Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario, an exemplary Lamborghini Ad Personam Opera Unica celebrating a decade of Squadra Corse and the bond between the road range and world of Lamborghini motorsport with an original performance kit and a dedicated livery.

"The Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario is not only a tribute to our racing division Squadra Corse," commented Rouven Mohr, Chief Technical Officer of Automobili Lamborghini, "but a concrete demonstration of how experience gained in motorsport can be effectively transferred to the road product, enhancing performance and driving pleasure. We firmly believe that motorsport is the most technically sophisticated and challenging test bed, and Squadra Corse's know-how is a valuable asset that deserves to be highlighted on unique models and limited road series with a racing vocation."

The livery is inspired by the Lamborghini SC63, the hybrid prototype of the Hypercar/GTP class that the brand will field in the world's most prestigious endurance races in the 2024 racing season, such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 12 Hours of Sebring. The colours chosen for the two-tone livery are Verde Mantis (green) and Nero Noctis (black), combined with a tricolor band that runs entirely across the "cofango" and roof.

Both doors sport the "Squadra Corse 10° Anniversario" logo to celebrate Lamborghini's Motorsport division, which boasts three consecutive GTD class wins in the 24 Hours at Daytona and more than 50 titles overall in the GT3 category.

The Squadra Corse logo is featured on the rear fin of the Huracán STO that extends from the airscoop to the opposite edge of the rear hood.

The car also mounts a full carbon fibre package that includes a Rosso Mars (red) stripe that encompasses the entire bodywork and gives the STO SC 10° Anniversario an even sportier look.

The interior trim was selected specifically for track use. The sport seats are upholstered in Nero Ade (black) Alcantara with Verde Fauns (green) stitching and fitted with four-point seat belts, and an aluminium roll bar protects the car's occupants. The interior configuration is completed with a carbon fibre floor covering and an exclusive plaque, also made of carbon fibre, placed on the rear firewall that certifies the car's uniqueness.

The Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario is the first road-legal vehicle that Lamborghini's Squadra Corse engineers, based on their know-how developed over ten years of experience on the racetracks, have created a performance kit for with the aim to improve dynamic qualities and performance on the track.

The aerodynamics have been optimized with the adoption of two brand-new front carbon fibre flicks mounted on the bonnet, which work together with a rear wing with an angle three degrees higher than the production model to increase the car's downforce both front and rear.

The mechanical grip has been increased significantly by a set of four racing derived shock absorbers that replace the standard active components. The dampers are four-way adjustable, with rebound/compression at both high and low frequencies.

Also contributing to the boost in track performance are the new tires developed ad hoc in collaboration with Bridgestone based on a new compound ensuring optimum performance and durability lap after lap.

The car's equipment is further enhanced by the Akrapovic titanium exhaust that accentuates the sound of the Sant'Agata Bolognese V10 on all frequencies.

Automobili Lamborghini presented the Huracán STJ, a limited edition of ten units and the last celebration of the super sports car equipped with the V10 engine, an engineering icon of the Sant'Agata Bolognese carmaker.

The naturally aspirated V10 engine is a symbol of Automobili Lamborghini's history, contributing to the success of the Huracán family first presented in 2014, which by the end of the year will be replaced by an all-new super sports car equipped with a new hybrid powertrain.

With a design based on the Huracán STO, the STJ represents the pinnacle of performance achieved in the Huracán family's history, thanks to the introduction of an exclusive package designed to further enhance the racing spirit of the Huracán STO. STJ stands for Super Trofeo Jota: Super Trofeo pays tribute to the Lamborghini one-make championship, established in 2009, while Jota refers to Appendix J of the FIA Regulations that sets the racing car specifications, and to a long tradition of Lamborghini models developed for the track, starting from the Miura SVJ and continuing with the Aventador SVJ.

The Huracán STJ stands out thanks to its dedicated aerodynamic package developed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse technicians, leveraging the know-how acquired over ten years at the top of Gran Turismo competitions. The sophisticated aerodynamics of the STO have been further improved with the addition of the iconic "cofango": two all-new carbon fiber aerodynamic appendages (flicks), while the angle of the rear wing has been increased by 3° compared with the production model to ensure a 10% increase in aerodynamic load while keeping the car perfectly balanced.

Like the STO, the Huracán STJ delivers a maximum power output of 640 CV at 8000 rpm and a torque of 565 Nm (at 8000 rpm) controlled by a 7-speed dual clutch (LDF - Lamborghini Doppia Frizione) gearbox, combined with the rear-wheel drive only.

The mechanical grip has been increased significantly by a set of four adjustable racing-derived shock absorbers, which replace the standard active components. The shock absorbers are four-way adjustable to optimize the rebound and compression at both high and low frequencies, giving total freedom of choice in the set-up based on the track characteristics. The special characteristics of the shock absorbers allow lower spring stiffness to be used while maintaining optimal dynamic control of the car and increasing steering precision. To maximize the driving dynamics, special Bridgestone Potenza Race tires have been developed, made with a specific high grip compound and installed on 20" single-nut rims.

These technical features enabled an improvement of more than one second on the Narḍ Technical Center Handling Track laptime compared to the Huracán STO.

The sporty character and exclusivity of the car are also reflected in the aesthetics, with two different configuration and livery options definitively designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile. The first combines Grigio Telesto (gray) bodywork combined with a Nero Noctis (black) roof and Rosso Mars (red) and Bianco Isi (white) details, while the cabin is characterized by Nero Cosmus (black) Alcantara seats with leather details and contrasting Rosso Alala (red) stitching. The second configuration has Blu Eliadi (blue) bodywork with a Nero Noctis (black) roof and Rosso Mars (red) and Bianco Isi (white) details. Both versions also feature a special, numbered carbon fiber plate marked "1 of 10". In addition, there is the option to add a custom plate on the passenger side according to the customer's instructions.

Automobili Lamborghini presented a limited edition 'All Terrain' Ad Personam special series of the Huracán Sterrato at Italy's prestigious Milan Design Week. The 12 cars, with exclusive liveries developed by Lamborghini's Ad Personam studio in conjunction with its Centro Stile, are inspired by four different terrains to which the Huracán Sterrato especially lends its talents: snow, sand, off-beat tracks, and the earthiness of arid deserts.

Presented by Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, the All-Terrain versions made their world premiere to over 200 guests at Segheria of Tanja Solci, Milan - the chosen frame venue known as Object d'Art for her restauration vision - with a specially-created setting in which to present the provocative and particular personalities of the special series. Inspired by the disruptive tendencies of nature, each car is seen against a backdrop of the specific environment by which its livery is influenced such as rocks, desert and forests.

"The Huracán Sterrato disrupted the super sports car landscape from the moment of its launch," said Stephan Winkelmann. "The All-Terrain Sterrato celebrates its distinctive, multi-layer personality, always as much a super sports car as an explorer of new roads. Like nature, the Sterrato cannot be confined and will always find a way to carve innovative routes."

Each of the four Sterrato versions features a matt camouflage paint scheme created by Lamborghini's Ad Personam studio: reflecting the natural environments in which the Sterrato excels, the All-Terrain editions adopt the colors of the landscapes from which they take their inspiration. NEVE (snow) takes the sophisticated ice-cool hues of the tundra; SABBIA (sand) features the neutral tones of warm desert and green cacti, evocative of dunes and oases. The BOSCO (green track) evokes the trees, mosses and leaves of forest paths, while the TERRA (gravel) recalls the warm ground and sands of moorland environments and arid landscapes under powerful sunsets. The unique exteriors are finished with roof and upper bonnet cover in matt black, together with roof rails and cross bars. The lower part of the car is also painted matt black with a lower band in an accent color dedicated to each of the four versions, set off by Morus 19" matt black forged rims, complementary caliper colors and additional lights. Complementary internal Ad Personam specifications feature dark chrome and carbon twill with Alcantara, lasered Sterrato dedicated graphics and an Ad Personam plate denoting the special edition while recalling the external livery.

"The All-Terrain Sterrato is a true Lamborghini in its dynamic abilities and the way it surprises by delivering the unexpected,", says Design Director Mitja Borkert. "The Sterrato concept developed by our Centro Stile has been elevated together with our Ad Personam department to emphasize the different dimensions of the Sterrato's multi-faceted character and talents, and truly emphasizes its fun-to-drive, go-anywhere personality."

Presented during the evening event, the car was unveiled on stage in a display that evoked the power of nature and adventure. A giant Trompe L'Oeil depicting the perfect setting for the unveiled car, was created live during the evening by an Italian artist.

For the occasion the Michelin-starred Italian culinary experience designed by chef Enrico Cerea from the famous "Da Vittorio", has offered dishes inspired by the cool of snow and ice, the heat of the desert and the lush vegetation of the forest, with further entertainment from a top Milanese DJ. Attendees explored the 3T bicycle inspired by Lamborghini super sports cars, as well as Culti fragrances, and a workshop demonstrating the artisanal creation of the iconic Gommino loafer by Italian design house Tod's, all licensee partners of Automobili Lamborghini.

The 12 cars are already sold to selected clients in the three main commercial areas of USA and Latin America (ALA), Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Asia Pacific and Australia (APAC) within the total production volume of 1499 for which deliveries commenced in 2023. Each EMEA, as well as the other areas, will receive the 4 unique special series cars that will be the unique ones in their countries.

"The Sterrato concept proved itself from the moment it was first unveiled, endorsed not only by awards won, media and customers acclaim, but from its resounding commercial success with all units immediately sold out," said Chief Commercial and Marketing and Officer, Federico Foschini. "Limited series that demonstrate Lamborghini's competence in personalization through our Ad Personam studio are an important part of our business model, with Milan Design Week the perfect forum to present this capsule edition."

The Sterrato's 5.2-liter V10 engine delivers a maximum power output of 610 CV and 560 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, combined with 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and electronically controlled all-wheel drive with rear mechanical self-locking differential. Its wider tracks and increased ride height help maximize the super sports car's fun-to-drive personality on both road and away from the tarmac. Designed to offer optimum performance on loose surfaces, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 260 km/h (160 mph).
