I purchased a used RonJon bumper from Ricky Pounds approximately three weeks ago. The pictures supplied and the descriptions in the ad noted scratches along the bottom of the bumper, but no other issues.
The initial transaction details went smoothly, but when the bumper finally arrived to me yesterday there were multiple issues. The paint was cracked and flaking in multiple places and one corner of the bumper was bent out of shape due to poor packaging and shipping.
I now need to have the entire bumper sanded and repainted at a cost of somewhere between three and four hundred dollars, a cost that was definitely not anticipated.
Multiple communications with the seller have offered no retribution for the damage. He believes he is not responsible for any damage caused by the shipping company. I obviously disagree because he packed the product and contracted the shipping.
