Sad story, Cruise Missile is gone... 5at almost got me stranded in St. Louis and barely got me home. Called Acura and was told they would not cut me ANY slack on a $3K replacement nor would they ever do another goodwill warranty for any other TL 5AT. I loved this car and I did not have $3k to fix it so I traded it in on a 2012 Mustang that I hate more and more everyday I drive it. Acura should be drawn and quartered for this boat anchor of a transmission and they knew it was faulty after all of the issues they had with the previous generation. I was an Acura tech and replaced many of them and did the 'jet kit' on many more. I had less than 100k miles and never gave me a minutes trouble (HFL issues aside) until the 5AT issue. I hope your new owner loves you as much as I did but I will never buy another Acura and I warn anyone with these cars to start saving now because they all go out at some point. I'm just glad it got me home on a cold dark night...
