FIC is an option if not a piggyback.

jbrow117 04-10-2011 12:11 PM

Hmmm, I haven't been on here in a couple of years. Nothing has changed. No reflash/No way to bump rev limiter/No way to eliminate top-end limiter. Time to get rid of the '07' Type-S

justnspace 04-10-2011 12:13 PM

^you're in luck....

what was that little flame that sparked out in the second video?

pass427 04-21-2011 08:50 PM

Wastegate dump tube got to love it

Lazer187 04-29-2011 02:34 PM

J&R is there going to be a plug & play ecu that will provide more hp & torque without the consumer having to do anything in reguards to programming?

Hi speed 04-29-2011 03:22 PM

^^ I don't know that this is true. I think you will still have to have the car tuned for the mods you have.

justnspace 04-29-2011 03:23 PM

^thats what i thought as well.
the ecu is plug and play. but you have to get it tuned.

KN_TL 04-29-2011 03:30 PM

I am pretty sure Rodney will deliver a good base tune for the non-S and S J&R turbo users, but he's got something to base it against.

Unless he has a setup identical to the person's mods, it's going to be a shot in the dark at best.

Lazer187 05-02-2011 01:20 PM

how hard would it be to tell him your mods, and have him setup for each individual setup before shipping it out?

justnspace 05-02-2011 01:24 PM

^you would have to get it tuned by a tuner on a dyno.

That would assume he would have all of your bolt on's on top of owning a TL-S.

I can almost guarantee that he has neither.

As justn said, it's up to you to get the tune, not him.

And as I said earlier, if you have a setup he has worked up (turbo), you may get a base tune.

He's a pretty small company but he also tries to please everyone, so after getting some more turbo sales, maybe he can afford to address the bolt on crowd.

VELASTL1210 06-04-2011 03:27 PM

very nice for the TL

I tried to make the title as descriptive as I could with "Flashpro initial results" prefix, too lol :tomato:

EvilVirus 02-05-2013 10:16 PM

^Maybe it should have been a little more simpler to find lol

bouncer07 02-06-2013 07:11 AM

It couldn't have been missed... but this got searched and got popped up.

EvilVirus 02-06-2013 12:16 PM

^ True when you search I assume the 1st thing that pops in my mind is "ECU tuning for Acura TL Type S"

I only committed with my first reponse because the "Flashpro initial results" was a thread or two down from this. Plus it was on the first page for awhile. Regardless, 1hellaTLS should follow the link I provided and ask questions towards I_LOVE_CARS or anyone else who is running it or knowledgeable.
