How much to paint the grill???

I currently own a 2009 white TL and I want to paint my grill white but i'm wondering about an average price to paint the grill at a local shop.

I would like to know the same, but I'm sure it will vary greatly by quality and location.

Plastidip is ok if you don't want to color match.

Ya about $140-$150. Then you should have it clear bra'd.

For the people who paid 150ish did that include the body shop removing and prepping or was that just the cost of painting?

I think that might be valuable info for some here.

The set up time and clean up time are the same whether they paint the grill or the whole car. That's why it seems expensive to you. Small jobs are not very profitable.

Yeah $150 actually sounds pretty reasonable to me, assuming they do a great job.

The $140 was the total bill. Not sure if the dealer took the beak off or not. You could ask if it would save you any money. It's easy to take the beak off.
And as for the clear bra, I think it's worth it. You know your going to get chips on it. Shop around for the clear bra though.

For BWP I think the "beak" looks great painted CBP. I plan on doing that.

Has anyone seen it painted white?

Do a search in the gallery section of the forum. I have seen pics of them painted white there in the past. Looks good.

I had the beak painted WDP on my wife's 10 TL SH-AWD and it looked ten times better imo. And also had it clear bra'd.

Do you have the clear bra put in before the badge or after?
