If its boiling I think there's a leak somewhere. It shouldn't boil unless the pressure is reduced. That's why when it's hot and u take the cap off the antifreeze boils up and out due to increase of pressure.

Ok so any suggestion on where to start looking for a leak?? And don't kno if this is related but b4 the car started to overheat I was driving about 85-90mph on the freeway and ran over some tire debris..u think this could've caused my radiator to crack?? There IS no leak tho that I notice coming from the radiator area

how does the temp come up- normal temp then suddenly hot?
road debris will put a hole in rad!!!
are both rad fans running? driver fan run a few times at stoplights

special tool need to pressure test for leaks- go to a radiator shop

Did you use a honda genuine thermostat==tl picky about that and its position

Burping the system after filling
see owner manual for specifics to your year ,get one free www.owners.acura.com need cars VIN for that
heater must be turned on to hot
you run engine with rad cap off, fill system as needed,,takes 10-20 minutes to be sure its all done
air will cause many problems

make sure both fans kick on,mine was overheating too, overlooked the fan and spent alot of money, even new radiator....let idle and wait and see or idle and turn ac on and both fans should be on,if not then buy just a new motor for the fan that doesnt kick on and swap em,problem solved...note..easier to do when u take radiator out

this is a thread about overheating,,not `my trans wont shift!`
please make new thread- `I rebuilt trans- but it wont work`
,,one of our trans gurus that have rebuilt them may be able to help

usually no shift after rebuild is a line not connected or an internal problem with incorrect assembly, clutchpack issue, or bad part
same with speedo

did you install 7.3 qts of honda dw1 atf?

being a holiday today dont expect an immediate response with factual answers too quickly,,but kris and the piggylover should be back soon--those guys know inside the trans
