2008 Acura TL axle, HELP PLEASE
Hello everyone I'm a new owner of a 2008 Acura TL. My driver axle is bad and broke. For some reason the cv joint castle nut is falling off, thus causing my car to dropping on the road while driving, which broke my axle. I tried buying one at advance auto and it didnt fit. I called autozone and napa auto parts and they say that the left side isnt listed.. so i called the Acura dealer and they gave me this part number 44306 SEPA10 and told me it was $289.00... Do anyone know where I can find it or does anyone know the part number for the one that advance auto part has that matches that factory oem one please?

A broken axle isn't going to cause the car to drop, maybe you're referring to the lower balljoint that seperated, car dropped and then the axle broke??????????
If so, new ball joint, and axle will be needed providing nothing else was damaged in the mishap.
ACURA TL HALF SHAFT ASSY. Part# 44306-SEP-A10 $241/$180

I was ordered an drivers side axle from our forum sponsors but the one up for 249 is a discounted model and they replaced it with another. I didnt mind that they changed it till I heard how much they were. I believe the original price was 700 and they would give me it to me for 500. Numbers are a rough estimate but they are pretty close. Has anyone had any experience with Raxles?

I personally think oem is better because you dont ever have to worry about stupid shit like what happen to me, advance auto got me a brand new duralast axle the passenger side was off by like a mm so it didnt fit meaning they are manufacturing the incorrect ones. I also bought one for jcwhitney a huge autopart company and they also sent me the incorrect one. Today i got my oem one from honda it came out to $196.00 hopefully it fits, Another good idea is just remove your axles one morning and just go get them rebuilt it only takes a few hours and its cheaper.

So if you wanna save yourself sometime and the headache go with oem. Hondapartsunlimited sells them discounted and they are brand new not rebuilt. Same model number as the guy up top put

Raxles use better grease ( Amsoil synthetic ), they are built stronger than spec with higher quality parts with no regrinds on the oem axle. I've had mine on for a little over a month now so and so far loving it. Im dropped pretty low as well. It was about $350 shipped for the pair. You have to return your old oem axles though as the core (prepaid shipping already included). If not they charge another $80-$100 i believe. Also, did I not mention, Marty and his staff over at raxles have one of the best customer service I've ever dealt with. Highly recommend
