So the offer is to just stand on the side of the road and listen for it?

LMAO!

Fun fact, dropped car off at dealership yesterday...the porter kept eyeballing my car and moved it up 10 feet...i could easily tell which one was mine turning on in comparison to all the other acuras under the awning. He moves it and gives it a little extra couple of revs...enjoy, buddy!

How is your RV6 True Dual at cruising/highway speeds(60-80mph)??
Is it quiet just like your stock exhaust?
I expect it to sound awesome under WOT, but for cruising around town and such is it still a luxury car?
Any idea about your HP and TQ gains?
Thanks

TXTLS, do you have a 5AT or 6spd? I am not sure about the auto guys but for me, highway speeds are pretty quiet. It seems the faster you go the quieter it gets. For my winter car I have an Integra with a stock exhaust, and going from that to my TL with the exhaust it's night and day. But that's not really a fair comparison!

What I am trying to say is at any RPM, 5AT or 6spd, the RV6 exhaust will be music to your ears.

Not sure on HP and TQ gains from the cat-back alone, I didn't notice anything.

2007 TL Type S Auto

I already have the HFPC's/J-Pipe combo on the way, K&N panel filter, and Hondata(planning to buy tomorrow). My last performance mod would be this exhaust. It is hands down better than the other ones out there, and that is what we are paying for, the best exhaust. I just dont know if there will be any HP/TQ gains(more than 5), and if it will be quiet when cruising on the highway. The other mods are for sure and on the way, the exhaust I am trying to find out if its worth it.... other than the wide open throttle music being so awesome.

I have a 2007 TL-S auto as well, with full RV6 (HFPC + J-pipe + TD).

Everything is perfect, but you have to get used to a minor drone at around 2.5k rpm. It's not annoying, but the vibrations are noticeable. Cruise control easily eliminates most of it on the highway. As others have mentioned, the faster you drive (2.5k+ RPM), the tamer it gets.

Alright alright... not the best I admit. I go back and forth between Virginia Beach and DC almost every week, so in case anyone wanted a preview I thought I'd throw it out there. Probably not necessary since this thing markets itself...

TXTLS with the HFPC's/ J-Pipe combo, it's going to sound awesome if you get..or should I say when you get... the TD Exhaust.

If you have the funds don't hesistate!

I never thought of a catback exhaust system alone as a significant power-adder it's more for sound, but when added with the HFPC's/Jpipe, a free flowing cat-back can't hurt

Very nice. Hopefully I see it in person...

...Sent you a PM with a quick question (not for this thread)

God I need to wash the car and shine these tips up again, but no wax for another month since I had the rear bumber painted recently... Too much salt everywhere!
