There is a nifty feature on the Internet called "Search". It is amazing at what you can find. Give it a shot. If you are just starting out, go search and read up, then post some more specific questions.

OP this is something you have to do tons of research. Anyone can you give parts list, but if you don't understand the concept of boosting then you are going to run into issues.

"Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell is a good place to start.

There is nothing basic about making a custom turbo setup.

this doesnt make sense at all.

with a civic, you will still have to have the knowledge to fab up certain aspects of the turbo....it still wont come with instructions...

the other guys that are suggesting another car...are suggesting to start off with the right wheel drive, AKA RWD.

none of this FWD bs, because its hard to keep traction in a fwd vehicle.
So, your civic suggestion just doesnt make sense.

I don't know man. Volvo's been doing FWD turbo for a long time. We have one too, and it's awesome. Endless torque.....from 2000 rpm The TL feels weak, especially when it gets warm outside. It could definitely handle a lot more torque to the front wheels. I had a turbo S80 before my TL, and it felt so much more powerful. The TL might be quicker but it sure don't feel like it.
