'06 TL with less than 60k, major services needed?
Hello everyone! New 06 TL Navi base model here with S type rims (not sure if OEM or aftermarket). Got the car from boyfriend's family as a hand me down about 1-2 months ago, stepping up from a 04 Toyota Corolla.
Good condition, garaged, 57k miles right now. A few scrapes, which were patched up with a quick detail. A few things I'd like to do:
- Leatherique treatment when it warms up
- Zaino treatment (incl Z-5 for some of the swirl marks)
I'm not super handy, but have bought Mobile 1 synthetic at Costco for the local guy here for next oil change, tires ok for now, using premium gas obviously.
Any major service milestones given the mileage, how about just given the age of the car? Thanks in advance!

I would do transmission pressure switches, a trans drain/refill and trans filter. Have it looked over for any needed repairs obviously. As far as maint goes, your pretty much good until 105k miles when you need a timing belt service. A bit of advise, if you have a question, type in in google and add acurazine behind it. You can find just about anything and everything. Boy you stepped up from that Corolla! lol Does this mean your a girl? "from the bf's family" We like to see girls getting involved on the forum!

Have the brake fluid swapped out as well- I agree with tranny switches and fluid swap but other than those minor things, the car needs nothing else. Also make sure brake pads are thick enough (may be on original brake pads if at 57K miles).

Question about the tranny pressure switch change, is that more a preventative thing since the 06 transmissions should be clear of previous Honda issues (my friend did have an Accord transmission fail on his 04/05)? Is it something that's a regular part of any car maintenance anyway? Thanks!
