Talking Finally pulled the trigger on a TL!!!

whats up guys after 2 years of dreamig for a tl i finally bought one saturday. it was a spurr of the moment thing my fiance and i were out driving and i stopped at the acura dealer and test drove a few and ended up with an 05 silver tl w/ black interior and navi,auto.104k service done also.

my dream was a wdp 6speed with black interior but i looked for about a year and found one but it was 1,000 miles away. even any with a 6speed in my area are almost impossible to find.. i was nervous about buying the auto because ive heard horror stories about them

ive only had this car for two days and its byfar the best car ive ever owned! ive been on this site many times and love it it seems to be extremly helpfull with everyones advice. i will post pics soon and upgrades are soon to come!

congrat you won't disappoint by going AT many member here is having fun replace their clutch, MT clutch replacement will cost you around around $2000 from the dealer.

Very cool. That's what counts! And congrats on the new ride! Good on ya making sure the costly 105k service was done. Suggest flushing/changing the following if you don't see any of the following records:

Oil/filter
Brake fluid
Coolant
Power steering fluid
ATF
Spark plugs (stick with OEM)
3rd/4th gear pressure switches

Plenty of DIY info on all these procedures. Again congrats and nice choice!

No problem dude. Enjoy the new ride.

I've had my 08 for 9 months. I've put 32K miles on it and it still drives great even with 104K miles on it.

Beautiful and NAVIGATION

Congrats I will never buy a TL without NAV. The NAV is so awesome.

And I have owned 4 cars with NAV. The ones without NAV, I bought a GARMIN 4" NAV. NOTHING compares to ACURA NAV

AMEN to that and you 04-06 TL's w/ Navi can hack yours to give more info like instant mpg and other things. There is a great demo of a hacked navi TL on youtube if you'd like to see it. Welcome to AZ... Silver is the best color for a luxury car and gives the best contrast with tint.

Check CL before you put out $100. There was one set out by me for $60.
