I'd be scared to have it done for that little ... you can paint & blend the color but you can't really blend the clear and the panel will need to be recleared.

Which means the whole back fender and the "C" pillar and clear over the windows and down the "A" pillar.

Done poorly or cheaply could look great for a few months then the clear can start to peel.

You probably would need to double or triple what you want to pay and that would put you in the right ball park

Damn, I didn't realize that small dent would cost so much to fix. My insurance has a $500 deductible, would it still be worth it? I just wouldn't want my rates to go up & I will be qualifying for a 5 year good driver discount next april...

Honestly it's not going to be THAT much, probably on par with your deductible to have the paint properly blended.

I'd be more concerned with your overspray of tire shine

if you are in LA i may know a shop that can do it for slightly more than what you want to pay.

You typically get what you pay for with body work. You could probably get some kind of "fix" for cheap, but for a like new fix that will last it will be more expensive.

I'm no estimator, but my limited experience with doing paint/body work suggests that the whole panel would have to be scuffed and the area around dent would need to be stripped, filled, and primed. Then the base and pearl coat would go over it and probably blend within the panel. Then the entire panel would be re-cleared. (That's the good repair BTW)

I would imagine that would be $700-$1000, but again, I'm not an estimator. IMO your best bet would be to take it to a few body shops for estimates.

holy crap i googled and came up with this thread lol...

I have a...how shall we say similar problem *sigh*
https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/%2Asigh%2A-hit-run-857522/

Have you found this part yet? i don't even know what it's called and where to look for it

Clearly mine is a lot worse then yours...but Splew is right....the guy i took it to has a legit body shop that was recommended by my dealer. They said they would have to take the whole panel off to make sure they can paint it right and do the clear coat so it matches rest of the car. and it would cost me 2000 bucks
