Actually I beat a Dodge Stratus when I was in my Mazdaspeed 3. It was really bad.

As of tonight, I can add K24 swapped honda to that list.
While I didn't blow it away, being able to pull on it or even stay almost neck and neck was pretty surprising.

He never missed a shift or mentioned it. On the roll he is definitely faster vs the automatic, past 100mph I'm sure he would have passed me.
The only reason he never pulled ahead of me from the stop was traction. I'm sure if he had the type-r tranny he would have done better.

Has anybody ever raced a dodge charger? One of the newer ones with the V6 or the Hemi?

I ran one of the newer Pentastar V6s this past Spring. Twice from like 60. First one I didn't even think he was trying. Second one I gave him a car length and it wasn't much better for him. 4100 + lbs and 292 bhp is not a favorable equation these days. I think a stock 5AT 3G TL would be a decent run for one. I was actually hoping it was an R/T when I came up on him. I've been dying to run one! I guess I just tend to despise your typical Hemi guy. I'd probably get edged out from a dig, but I think it'd be pretty damn close from a roll.

Ah I see. That 3.6 292 does sound slightly intimidating specially since I heard that when their torque actually kicks in its a you know what haha. But from what you were saying it should be a pretty even race. My frat bro has one and he's always talking about how he can beat me, me on the other hand I just say sure you can and just continue to strive, enjoy, and look good in my TL. Although it does make me wonder if he could, but one day

Lol, you quoted someone from a post from 2006. Regardless, they never put a 302 in the Lincoln LS. They had either a V6 or a 3.9 liter V8.
