A-spec upgrade....Brake pads?

Already have the Brembos up front, but want more stopping power. Has anyone had any experiences with Stainless steel brake lines? good or bad? Are they worth the money? Do the Aspec brake pads offer any more bite for the rear brakes?

note: I installed some forged 19"s and shaved off 2 lbs each wheel/tire(42.5 lbs.) . It doesn't really improve the stopping distance at 30 mph, but at highway speeds I think has helped a little. That's why I ask for your opinions. I'm not doing this to autocross my car, I'm thinking more along the lines of performance brakes for safety reasons.

thanks

A-Spec kit pads are for the 5AT. Stainless brake lines won't help you stop faster. Not worth the money IMO. The brakes on the 6MT are already very good. Improving them will cost a lot. You could go with a 13" Brembo kit. Do you already have performance tires - like a Bridgestone SO3 or equivalent?

Aegir-
No I didn't go with the S-03's I chose to get a tire that would last a little bit longer and wasn't as agressive for the road noise (Falken St 115 245/35ZR-19). My 94 325is had S-02's and later on S-03's. The S-02 had a better feel but were gone after 15K miles.

I contacted Baer brake via email and asked about their eradispeed kits. They consist of a braket that you mount your stock caliper to in order to fit a larger diameter rotor. They have no plans as of yet to make anything for the 2004 TL. That sucks!! they make kits for for Pontiac grandprix's and other performance sedans, but nothing for the TL

I just spent a small fortune on the wheels/tires and don't want to have to replace the brembos yet. I know that Rotora makes a kit, but they are only available in red or blue ( no black).

Oh well, I guess I'll just wait for the stock pads to wear out and but some of those EBC green stuff brake pads.

thanks for the $.02 I'll hold off on the stainless steel brake lines for now....
