Seat Heaters periodically work

I have an issue with the seat warmers on my TL, in warmer weather(above 38*) everything works fine, but when the temp falls at night,(below 30+) they do not work in the AM. Once it heats up throughout the day, they start working on occasion. This could last for a few days before they work again. I'm thinking relay. I checked wires and fuses. Any suggestions???????

more then likely in the seat heater elements in the seat itself, is where most people seem to have the issues of them not working

Checked seat elements wiring? That's usually the problem. Best I rem. you should measure about 5 ohms per element.

Thanks for the reply's,I'll looks at those if necessary, the weird thing is what when they don't work, the lights on the switch don't come on, leading me to believe that it's something from the switch on back to the battery. Also, I am not turning on the mirror warmers, since only one can be used at a time.

why is that?, cause they should be able to be turned on at the same time; by the sounds of it, you might have bigger issues

Wait, we have mirror warmers? Is that a JDM thing or are you talking about something other than the side view mirrors?

Yes, you have heated (side) mirrors. Switch is toward the front of driver's armrest near pwr. window controls. Might depend on year model, mine ('02) has them. Indicator light when turned on.

03 is the same

but a better location explanation, is that it is on the power mirror controls, right next to the side select for adjusting what mirror
