AC flickering on and off with DRL light coming on

AC flickering on and off with DRL light coming on
Yesterday my ac started flickering on and off with the Day time running light light on and my windshield wipers do not seem to work while this happens either. Has this happened to anyone before? Any suggestions what is wrong and how to fix it?

was your car part of the wiper motor recall?
call dealer service dept- give them VIN and they can ck for you
You say DRL so assuming a Canada car?
If the battery is more than 3 -4 years old its definetly a suspect-
most parts stores will test the whole charging system for free
the battery is what supplies electricity to all the sensors and loads-
the alternator replaces what is being used at any given time--
if battery dies the alt will often fail as it gets overworked trying to keep the car going
May not even trigger a warning light--not enough power too!!
