Current delta from TSX to TSX Tech is $3100, for the TL it's $3730. Hopefully your guess is on the high side!

Just thinking that the base 4 cylinder can't be that different than the current base TSX price of $31,530, especially if they're taking leather out of it (I get that they're adding a lot of other content).

so $32,000 to $34,000. Has to compete replace to some extent the TSX, which is a little less expensive.

I don't think so. Our order sheet does not list leather with the base TLX, it first appears on the Tech package feature list. Normally it would be listed as "Leather" and then either "Perforated or Milano Leather" if there were differences. Also, when I mentioned the lack of to someone who was at the dealer show, he agreed it was a shame, but that they were shooting at an aggressive opening price.

As for the OP .... I'll guess .... $32,995! That puts it just below the Caddy ATS

With ILX topping out at $31,600, I am sure they wouldn't want to cannibalize it's sale like they are right now with TSX. That is why I am guessing mid 30s for starting price.

If memory serves me correctly the base RLX has a "leatherette" interior and starts at around $49k. The RLX Tech has Milano leather and is about 5k more. That being said I can see a V6 TLX (base) with leatherette starting around 36k with the Tech (Milano leather) around 41k. I'm sure discounts will follow as supply increases and time wears on. And these are just educated guesses of course.

What I've noticed is that the TL pricing is designed to start right where Accord pricing ends with a slight overlap. So a fully loaded Accord EX-L and a base TLX should be around the same price. They now have a touring model that fully optioned up touches $35k I think. So the TLX base no more than $1k less than that. Since the top end of pricing is shift up, we can expect a slight bump up on the bottom end of pricing too.
One of my friends bought a fully optioned up EX-L back in 2006 and was really happy with it. He thought he had a good deal, I think he bought it for 30k. A few months later I rolled around with my loaded TL for only $1K more. He was envious but didn't want to admit it, lol.

^^^ I saw 56K at an Acura booth at the Mtl Autoshow

It can't be way more than the new Q50 that loaded comes to around $48k (minus the destination etc charges). If what weather saw at the MTL car show is still right then Infinity will make a killing in the market segment I call: "can't afford the S4 that I want, hate BMWs, my grandpa owns a benz, and I find lexus people too arrogant...".

^^ I want to be wrong for you guys sake (it won't affect me now)....Now there is the difference between MSRP vs actual price paid. The RLX is a case and point

If you take a look at the history of it... The outgoing TSX was low 30's. Here's my guess
$32,995 - 2.4L Base FWD
$36,495 - 2.4L Technology Package FWD
$37,495 - 3.5L Base FWD
$40,995 - 3.5L Technology Package FWD
$44,995 - 3.5L Advanced Package FWD
$45,995 - 3.5L SH-AWD Technology Package
$49,995 - 3.5L Sh-AWD Advanced Package
$32,995 - 2.4L Base FWD
$36,495 - 2.4L Technology Package FWD
$37,495 - 3.5L Base FWD
$40,995 - 3.5L Technology Package FWD
$44,995 - 3.5L Advanced Package FWD
$45,995 - 3.5L SH-AWD Technology Package
$49,995 - 3.5L Sh-AWD Advanced Package

2016 is when you will see the updated ILX with the jewel eye headlights, updated ODMD display in the center consol ( the 2 tier displays like in the RLX, MDX, and now TLX ) and better smartphone integration. Also expect to see the TLX's 2.4L engine in it, the option of AWD, updated front/rear bumpers, and maybe the addition of memory seats and power passenger seats.

Sounds like Acura is moving away from any kind of Manual Transmission.
Honestly, regarding the MMC of the ILX (2016), it all sounds good/interesting, but what do you need AWD in an entry level model like that for?
Yes, everyone will argue that AWD is better than FWD in all situations, but is it really?
