I have an 07 CGP TL auto and have 19,000mi on the odometer.
The other night I thought I would try driving with the sport shifter setting on and shift through the gears manually tapping the +/- with the shifter.

On top of the car feeling much more "torquey" and staying in the gear longer than the auto would, I noticed that the steering felt considerably heavier and did not easily sway left to right even in 1st gear going 10mph.

Is this just in my head? My gut feeling is that the steering is definitely heavier, but could it be attributed to the fact that one hand is on the shifter?

btw, i do drive with one hand on the wheel and one on the shifter anyway when in auto mode as well, so I'm pretty sure that the steering wheel is getting heavier while in sport mode.

I was just wondering if anyone else made the same observation as I did.
