Need Advice: Is it really bad to run 60 degree lugs with stock tsx wheels?

Just picked up some black oem wheels for my TL from a TSX. Was looking to do a different color lug for the fun of it. Is it really a bad idea to do a 60 degree seat over the ball seat. I've looked all over for the ball seat in the color I want with little luck. Any help is greatly appreciated...

Not unless you use these:

Or your conical lugs will end up looking like this

They do not seat the OEM wheels properly, so without the adapters, yes its unsafe.

Wish I would have known about these a long time ago, I have some bad ass open ended ones I wanted to use with the aspecs. They made that same wear mark that I wasn't comfortable with.

Do those adapters really work? I have never heard of them

Thank you 02type-s. That is exactly what I have been looking for so I can run my old spline drive lugs.

Not sure if I am a fan of these, maybe it is the lugs I am trying to use. the first time I torqued them down they did not center to the lug to they made weird grooves in the "adapters". I lightly epoxied them straight though and they have not lost torque in 100 miles, so purpose wise great but use is a bit strange.

p.s.
my lugs do not have that small "shoulder" i guess right above the pitch, it just goes from angle to shaft of the lug

OEM Honda/Acura rims must use ball-seat type lug nuts.

Ruining a set of aftermarket lug nuts is nothing when compared to ruining a set of OEM rims by destroying the lug nut seat areas.
