Rev when going into 4th

Rev when going into 4th
Hey all,
I noticed when shifting from 3 to 4 there is a little rev, about 1000rpm then it shifts.
I didn't notice that before..

anyone else experience the same thing?

115000 kms,
Going to timing belt soon.

my 99 does it also especially in the colder weather. Now that it is starting to warm up a lot more, only revs up like 2-300 rpm. I would say that the transmission is starting to slip.

That should not Happend even when Cold... If the tranny over-revs its Slipping = Will crap Itself Soon.

First action is always to replace the transmission fluid. (Drain and fill) Use the new Honda "juice"...DW-1.

Not good news, but I`ll have them change the tranny fluid when I get my timing belt changed.

your tranny is slipping, start saving money towards a tranny. changing the fluid will only prolong the inevitable. good luck.
