Hello all,
I have a 2006 Acura TL. Recently, I cannot save new memory seat anymore. The "memo" button does not work at all when I press it (no sound, no light). The other button (seat 1 and seat 2 button next to the memo button) works just fine. Whenever I tried to save a new seat position, I change the seat to the desired position, press the memo button (nothing happens), then press either of the "1" and "2" button to save it. It does not save, and just go back to the previously stored seat position.
I read some other threads regarding the mirror actuators and windshield washer, but those works fine on my car. Everything is fine except for that. I tried re-linking the keys too, but it still does not work. Anyone have any idea what's going on? Thank you so much in advance!

I have a similar problem with my TL. I think it's an issue with the memory module which is located under the driver's seat.

The memory seat module is the problem for most 2004 TLs.

I haven't heard anything wrong with them for 2006.
I believe they fixed the issue with the module in 2005.

I would attempt to disconnect the battery and reconnect it again after a few minutes.

Thanks for the input. I tried disconnecting the battery for a few mins as your suggestion, but the problem is still there. Any other idea? I don't wanna bring this to a shop and let them charge crazy amount on it just to look into the problem

Old thread. U just encountered the memory buttons do not work if I unlock the car with my remote.. but when I insert the key and turn it to accessory, then the light comes on and it works.
I removed my door panels and reinstalled them, and this error is occurring. Weird

like it's not getting power unless the key is inserted.

disconnecting the battery and reconnect fixed my issue.
