A cheaper quality option?
I知 on my 3rd or 4th kit after the factory ones went. I had a Morimoto, it worked very well, but not for that long. Right now I have what looks like a $35 eBay set that has outlasted any of my others. The brightness and warm up time is lacking, but whatever. I知 upgrading a few things including lights, and doing all preventative stuff, fixing anything that needs it or will soon.
Redoing the TL-S ill have the front end off, I知 going to change all of my bulbs etc.
The Morimoto is $175 if I want to upgrade again instead, of waiting for the cheaper old set to start to go. It痴 going on 4 years. I知 getting $ deep into fixing the old girl up. I知 wondering, is there a cheaper reliable option?

back when I had my 2g, I always stuck with the OEM stuff. Maybe try local junkyards / pick-a-part place and maybe you'll find some ballast in pairs and maybe get a new set of bulbs from rockauto?
If you want aftermarket again, try DDM Tuning.. I think they probably just sell the same stuff on ebay so...

Null and proud of it
I like Kensun. Well, the old 9006 setup. The first kit I had (September 2013) was on par with Denso as far as light output. The second kit (June 2014) was a 55w 9003 kit. It was just OK. Still pretty good.
My last kit was a H11 kit I got in March 2017. That kit was disappointing, but it may have been a newer design. Light output was good still. It did flicker slightly. Still far better than any Xentec kit on eBay, however.
I'd go to TRS myself if I were you.

while TRS is expensive, there isnt anything that comes close to it in terms of customer service and reliable lights...
that's what you're paying for. the customer service and warranty of the lights.
you can try going to a cheaper brand, but most times....you're on your own if the lights stop working

You get what you pay for, make the gamble, you might get lucky with a cheaper option!
