Changing Fog Light Bulbs
#2
Burning Brakes
If you look under the bumper there is a small square cut out on the bottom of the bumper. If you look into this cut out you will see the bolt that holds the fog light in place.
Use the following to remove the bolt:
8 mm socket + ratchet extension (depending on whether or not you have an OEM kit...)
Fog Light removal:
Get a small screwdriver and cover the tip with a soft material (I used a piece of paper towel). Slide the screwdriver in between the fog light and the bumper on the left side of the fog light (assuming your removing the right fog light when looking at the front of the vehicle). The fog light should just pop out. Don't apply to much pressure...

Anyone actually have the number for the fog bulb? 9006 is for the headlight I believe. Looking to get new FOG BULBS not headlight bulbs. Thanks in advance

I just posted some pix of the fog light replacement I did today. Easy job, just needed new bulbs (9006), a 10mm socket with an extension and a spudger to get the lamp assembly out.

Any idea where I can get nice aftermarket fog lights with a touch of blue? My aftermarket ones just burned out. (lasted a long time) I don't remember where I got them.

^ Autozone and most Auto Parts sells ULTRA WHITE bulbs which are coated with a blue hint on them..
If you want blue color on the light itself go HIDs..

Something to consider if you want the 6K look, are these LED fogs (http://www.vleds.com/bulb-type/drl-f...06-1-pair.html)
I got them and they have pretty good light output(850 LM total output) and they match my 6K HID's perfectly. Had them for about 4 months now and they're holding up fine.

^ Yes but in the fogs is useless they have a Cut off so the light will never show in the Low beam headlight area.. Using 55w will make the light NEAR the bumper stupid bright.. You want 55w in the Lows and 35w in the Fogs.

Here's my DDM Tuning 6000K kit. This was when I first installed, but since then they have gotten a blue hue to them! I would recommend just putting HIDs in the fogs!

watts is power used to operate
Lumens is amount of light output
Kelvin is the color scale used for bulbs 3000 5000 6000 etc
3000 is yellow for actual fog, 5000 is best for replacement of stock lights
