Is it just me or do the wheels look more like hubcaps rather than the stock wheels?

I love collecting these and the color is right.. It just needs to look right.

Oh my goodness! That is awesome. If you can get a better deal, I'll totally pick one of these up for my Dad and get it painted RRP for Christmas. (And if you're ready this Dad, forget that you ever saw this) I'd do ~$55 shipped... I hope it's nice quality like the one's from Sharper Image

I just dont see the point. What are you going to do with a model, lower it, get new rims, rockblocker? All you can do is look at it, nothing really special, just sit in your tl everyday...

Lots of people are into models. Model cars, model tanks, model trains, model airplanes, etc.... I have about a dozen 1/18 scale diecast model cars and trucks. I'd love to have a TL.

Car and Drive last year did a article on the factories in China that make these assembled cars for auto enthusiasts. It wouldn't surprise me if the actual production cost of this TL with tooling amortized was $5-10 like those models in the article.

There are HUGE differences in quality of models like this. So saying you found a model of another car at Wal Mart for $10 or something isn't necessarily a fair comparison. Some of these types of models are so detailed and "correct" that they can cost a lot to make, and then they can sell for $100. That doesn't mean it's something that's worth it to everybody. It also doesn't mean the TL model in question is of high quality. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I'd guess that it probably isn't. Maybe somebody knows something about the brand (CM Models?) and their other products.

I agree. Like I said before, I hope they are similar in quality to the cars sold by Sharper Image, if any of you guys have seen them. They are pretty accurate, heavy, and quality. Not the best you could possibly ever get, but worth the money. (Mostly)

Rondog, can you make a kit for this one too?! I'd love to see a 1/8 scale Ron Jon body kit.

I hope it comes in different colors.
