Thanks for the handy list!

I think I'll print that out and keep it with my owner's manual.

Are 194's interchangeable for the 168's? I've noticed that there are more aftermarket options for the 194s. What I really want are ultra bright white license plate bulbs....and I'll probably get the silver bulb (but blink amber/yellow) for the front turn signal since the lens itself is clear.

Does anyone know what bulb sizes are in the AC, and the Cluster Guide? I know shifting knob has #74

There's kits on ebay but they do not say the bulb sizes...

before you buy the bulbs, make sure they are the correct size, don't get too small and don't get too long... I ordered 194 SMT III 38mmx11mm x18 LCDs thinking 18 lcds are pretty damn bright, they are, but they were too long, wouldn't fit inside the housing for the map lights. The biggest you can fit in the map housing is 30 mm, maybe 32, but I would go with 30 mms. And the festoon bulb for the dome light 3175 bulb, get size 36 or 37 mm, don't get 31 mm, too short, it'll work, but it won't sit well. And if the bulb doesn't work, just rotate the bulb 180 and it should work. Hope this helps.

2001 TL- guessing its from 99-01

OEM 168 bulb size 25mm

Map Light -168 bulb size 30, maybe 32mm

Trunk Light - 168 bulb size 28 mm

Dome Light 3175 size 36-37mm

What kind of bulbs go in the dash if I want to change my dash lights to the blue Ones on ledautomotive. Or to just replace them for future references.

Is this the correct replacement? Just want to confirm before i order it.

Low beam headlamp
HID-D2R

And the DIY for this is - https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-1999-2003-98/low-beam-installation-631575/#post9056124 and https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-1999-2003-98/diy-installing-headlight-bulbs-2nd-gen-tl-%5Bpics%5D-872082/, correct?
Thanks in advance

need a quick help. I installed the bulb I bought above in the left headlight. Now it is not focused on the ground like 10-20 feet away, but like 50-70 feet. If I am parked in garage and turn these on, the left one focuses quite above the right one vertically.

Is there any way I can adjust the height to make the visibility better?

thanks!

It sounds more like the bulb isn't seated right in the housing. Try making sure the bulbs notches line up and it sits flat in the reflector.

Hey Cheekoo, as mentioned.....if ya were not previously having the issue prior to replacing the headlight bulb, then recheck your work.

If things still don't seem right, there are adjustors for headlight aiming. Check previous posted threads for the procedure. Was the car wrecked ?
