Yummy Peanut Butter and Volks

After seeing some other people cleaning their Volks with peanut butter, i thought i would give it a try since mine are looking kinda dull after all these years.

Before

Getting it ready

And here is the good part...

Comparison between the two... the one on the left is the clean one, and the one on the right is the not so clean one

And this picture is for people who don't have camber kit on their car... You should seriously consider getting one, I have a camber kit on my car, but I ended up slamming my car towards the end of the summer and not caring and being lazy to get it alignment

Not sure how much the PB contributed to the wheel being cleaner, but it looks good. Looks like it's time for new tires.

the pictures don't really do it justice (old camera), i tried cleaning it with regular soap and water, it didn't really help much, so that's why i tried the PB

After you applied the peanut butter you had to wash it with water, right?
So maybe it was the water?

who figured this out in the first place?
i mean did someone just eat a peanut butter sandwich beside the car and carelessly drop some pb on the rim and tried to clean it....then figured this would work??

later somebody will come up with mayonnaise idea.....

Camber kit, or lack there-of, has nothing to do that tire wear.

Slamming the car, and not getting an alignment afterwards caused that.

No camber kit, 1.5/drop - no difference in wear edge to edge after near 20K miles. Tires still look nw actually.

Those meats are mean looking. I may try a set of those next.

I just want to say that, I know that this seems like a crazy idea to some people, when I first heard it, I thought it was crazy myself, but for anyone who has bronze Volks it's worth a try.

I'll get them on the car soon, i just received some new tires yesterday, so i'll be putting them on soon.... I'll be going to California on the 11th of April, so i can go to the Formula D event in Long Beach, and i was planning to stay until the 19th... But i'm going to see if i can stay a lil longer to make it to the meet.

I don't know yet, i haven't put them on the car yet, but i don't know if it will impress the ladies, more kids and dogs if anything....
