+5k in repairs????!?!?!?!

I'm guessing the LCA bushing are torn bc of my ride height being low without a camber kit... anyone out there that had similar problems, want to throw in some help?? I know I'm definitely going to find a local mechanic for the fixes, IF they are even an issue..
anyone near bergen county area know a good place to go to get all this fixed up??

most of that is "recommended",

front and side mounts diy can already knock off 500 of that repair at least.

Hit up MP Built in Port Reading. I just had my j pipe, pre-cat, axles done. I am getting new control arms done soon. Yes it's expensive, but the quality is there and it is STILL CHEAPER THAN DEALERSHIPS!

I just like the original estimate of $74.95. Oh and by the way, you need $5,345 worth of recommended repairs. Crazy expensive

Good luck with finding a local shop and saving tons of money

Are you out of warranty? The motor mounts for sure are part of the 6-year/70,000 mile drive train warranty. Maybe the other stuff on that list too (oil pump? main seal?).

Well, that sucks.

I don't think you should be having some of those problems so early - the leaks in particular. Why is that happening; what's the cause?

I have no idea why the leaks are happening. I ran my car by a local mechanic and told me although the leaks are happening, they aren't too much of an issue. As for the LCA+bushings and motor mounts, I need to replace them asap..

I'd have a talk with the service manager about factory assistance if there really are that many issues, if the warranty does not apply. Every one of those problems noted on the estimate is abnormal at less than 45K miles on a stock car.

Time to sell or trade in the car. Just another option rather than fixing the problems.

Ohh while your at it, I believe the radiator cap will start to leak to. A new cap cost about $16.95. You can get it at Honda if your local Acura shop is far or don't have it in stock.

Basic Warranty is 4 Years/50K miles and powertrain is 6 years 70miles (72500miles with the lawsuit) whichever comes first.

OP try to call Acura HQ, see if they can goodwill it or atleast a percentage of it off.

OEM Front Mounts = $138.50
OEM Passenger Mounts = $71.10
OEM Rear Mounts = $130.37

You can DIY by using a jack and some tools. Save yourself at least $400 in labor. Man, dealership makes a big profit out of labor alone.

OP's car is an '07 with 45K miles, and all that leaking and stuff seems related to the powertrain...

What I'd want to know is, "Why didnt' your dealer tell you that?" Time for you to find an honest dealer.

Warranty booklet for 2007 here: http://owners.acura.com/Documentum/Warranty/Handbooks/BWL32398.pdf

Acura labor rates are always going to be higher. I think its $150 an hour or something like that. Take it to a local garage instead.

Ok so i tried calling acura (a number i found somewhere), and was put on hold numerous times so i gave up on that...

I'm currently trying to find time to see "Jae" the guy who has a garage in Teterboro, NJ and see if he can lend me a hand.

*i recently found out i scraped my jpipe PRETTY bad going over some big ass speed bump...and I'm probably going to have to replace it as well..

YOU BET!

Deciding between ATLP or rv6s. From the video on heeltoe the ATLP seems to rock it in the low ends and the opposite for the rv6s. Is this true??
