$259.99
A Total of $1192(tax included) + 19.00 on the NJ turnpike roundtrip + gas about 60 (from and to Massachusetts)= $1271!

Heck Ramos, you got more than you bargained for with them as opposed to the $1,700 basic job!

the overexplainer
I just received my gates kit (5pc) in the mail fairly fast. +1 to RockAuto for anyone contemplating.
Looked through everything...seems pretty straight forward (just gotta be careful)..will update if I decide to undertake it myself with the help of a friend.

You can buy mine when I get some coilovers...
The 105K service really isnt that bad IF you have some common auto tech knowledge. Just follow the DIY on here and youll be fine. I had a problem with a bolt for the tensioner breaking off in the block- but thats a long story. Other than that everything was fine- about a 5-6hr job I believe...

My car is always maintanced at the dealer since 2006. So that's why they skip the cabin filter engine filter blah blah...
When #4 light-up,
Spark plug
Water pump
All drve belts + TB
Changing out the coolant on the car
+ labor = $1606
I don't know if valve cover gaskets and valve adjustment neccessary.
Or bearing and hydrolic tensioner...
I am thinking of buying the parts from vendor. I belive like $256.
But on the other side, I know these guys at the dealer very well... I don't know what would they say if I bring the parts in
They helped me a lot since 6 years. Free services, discounts and more.
It's total $1606 but with discount it will be like $1365.
Of course I don't know if these will come up as it did with Ramos22j
Broken front links
Broken side mount
or more
With the DIY everyone could do it but I am not sure...
Peace of a cake for my dad but he is like go to the service, don't play with it
He doesn't play with the cars anymore after we left Europe. He is like I had enough fun with cars...
Anyways... so yeah that's it
I might call Hamilton Honda NJ and ask for the labor price.
If I go there,
to my dealer, I'll be like I was on a road trip to CA and I replaced it there

Safety Car
I'm just under 90k now so I'll probably be due for this in a year or so. Hopefully Hamilton will still have this deal going on because I'd have no problem driving down there to save that kind of money.

I will call Hamilton to get price for labor + parts
You said they finished it in 6 hours...
Bernardi is like we give you a loan and keep the car for 2 days...

His name is Harvey... one of the two service managers I belive.
Didn't ask the front links or side mounts. We'll see there.

Well done Ramos to check Azine first! Do the plugs yourself as a DIY or buy some plugs online (best price Advanced Auto Parts with coupon code?) and let an independent shop change 'em. Hamilton Honda's TB deal is so good I made it part of my month-long east coast sightseeing trip two years ago...from Colorado no less....

It's night and day difference.
After the service... I am like, I was making that belt turn for nothing and harming the engine by using more power for the car to go + (more gas)
And sparkplugs too...definitely shows the difference
