This is most interesting. I recommend a lot of people to Tim & Dennis. I know they already have a free shipping code for over $500. And a 50% off shipping code for over $20. I don't mean to be the downer on this, I do have a question about Interfuse and their OBDII Wifi adapter.

Interfuse is listing it as a ELM327 v1.5 (http://interfuseshop.com/featured/el...ostic-adapter/).

However, if you go the ELM Electronics website, they clearly state "There is no ELM327 v1.4a, or v1.5, or v1.5a ! Some clone makers have introduced what they call a 'v1.4a', or a 'v1.5', or a 'v1.5a' but Elm Electronics has never made one."

The cheapest I could find was on SummitRacing....they price match and have free shipping....i got my 11.5-er braille for 120 shipped

I think someone recently used a coupon code which entitled them for $10 UPS shipping to Australia

hence they took multiple codes off and still trying to figure out how to get it back on and make the codes location dependent....

I have put Tim's email id on here and you can shoot him an email and mention "swoosh" for a discount plus free shipping to Con US....(sorry folks in Canada)....

I have been using their (interfuse) OBDII adapter for 2 weeks now....more than the device what i love is customer service....how many vendors follow up with you to see if everything is working fine ? and i am a sucker for good customer service....a bad product can be replaced if the service is good....

but yeah the product I have been using is the BT version and it has been working great....

from what I understand the ELM chipset is merely just a programmable chip supplied by ELM. The versioning is something that the distributors put in..probably small hardware changes.

kind of like refreshing a computer desktop and naming it "version 2.0" and it has the everyday intel inside it that has not changed.
