Talking Dreem1er's progress thread....

so why not start a thread its only been 7 yrs since i have a tl, a year later i joined azine...back in 07 i had lost my job when the economy went to shit, so mods bascially came to a dead stop, but i did do a few things and i have tons of pics and still have mods in mind to do...so sit back, shut up, and enjoy the ride

one of the first pics about 2-3 months after i bought my car, i had already done tints and remote start alarm,

second thing up was a wood knob, and tirm around the vents, plus an indash flip out tv, maybe 4-5 mths after purchase

cleared headlights

next i started on my kit, front i bought at the dealer mid-late 06, in late 06 i bought the sides $290 shipped (ebay), and a WW flush mount from a member on here, also had 3a tips

in early 07 i bought my 19s color matched from a member also, i hadnt installed the spoiler yet, in was sitting in my back seat, and was looking for a rear lip

to this day this is one of my favorite pics, wasn't complete but i still love it

early to mid 07 i bought a rear lip from tam, ex member on here, vzup(someshitorother) don't remember

don't have pics of this but,

years ago i changed out all lights to a hyper white led, did the an led retro fit to everything but my cluster...

now more stuff:
a few years ago i did hid fogs, and lower grill insert

that was one of the last mods until recently, in the last few months i've painted the stocks, painted the calipers, but i'm going to change the color soon, put in some side markers

and i'm still in the process of wrapping vinyl on some interior parts, and finishing up the bay

and as i said i have s techs sitting in a box

my rims are in my closet, they may make an come out when i drop it just to see fittment, but i need tires on them before anything.

i've got a few things i want to do, get another spoiler, sold the WW one along time ago, get a roof spoiler, been thinking of the visors, but i've never been a fan of visors. so not sure

but before all that i need to replace my pos trans

color matched , still have them, i was looking at the pics i forgot how they looked even for not being lowered looked good, the only thing whats on them right now is 245/35/19, so once i get the drop going i'm put them on the car just to see how they fit, stock height i rubbed on the driver rear but that side has always sagged, i should be able to get a perfect fit if i roll the fenders but time will tell

One question if you don't mind. How did you go about modding the area under the grill?

My old HU had 2 separate inputs

the new one has a USB connection, has audio aux, and video aux, the iPod connection is its own independent thing and you can control everything through the HU's screen

It's in the back bro. But why bother when this deck does a2dp? I'm in the car audio industry, flash drives are where it's at. Fuck an ipod.

Looks like mine. Acura part# 08U92-S0K-200

I had to drill mine to fit the shifter. Not sure on 02-03's threading.

I don't know much about audio Dreemer. That head unit is navi, dvd, cd, blue tooth, and can plug iphone into it?

Maker its CD, DVD, & BLUETOOTH built in, has a wired mic you place.

the head has a plug that lets you use your iPhone/iPod from the unit, its navi ready, if you buy a navi ready unit from pioneer you need a navi unit add on...its like $400. Thats why the avics, and other units with nav in cost 800+

Yes sir its very ghey, but pioneer has done that for many years. I don't really care about navi, plus in this day everyone's phones have nav. I would buy a car with nav, but never a hu with nav...pointless...at least til it gets cheaper, lets 500-600 with everything
