If you don't want to order a kit, you can get a Honda Radio Harness to plug into the blue harness. Then... if you plan to keep the factory amp, you would need to splice into the AMP ON wire on the gray harness and wire to your remote wire to tell the factory amp to turn on. If you want to keep your factory sub you would need to splice into the + and - of the sub wire also located in the gray harness. You would wire that up to RCA's and plug into the SUB Output on your aftermarket deck.

thanks i've gone through your write up about 8 times now. i think i'm starting to understand it (complete car illiterate here lol)
how is your sound with your aftermarket deck, stock amp, stock subs? as of right now i'm getting a slight static/hiss noise and gets worse when i turn my lights (first turn), and stays same when i have hid's (final turn).

what method did you use to tap into the +/- subs from the grey connector?
or did you cut them off the grey and wired them straight to the rca's..?
